Multiple User Accounts

For accountability and to help comply with the Data Protection Act, organisations using SMS Responder can (and should) set up individual user names and passwords for each person authorised to use the service.

Strong Password Protection

The SMS Responder website is password protected and uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) - the same encryption used for credit card transactions. Passwords are encrypted and cannot be viewed by anyone. Temporary new passwords are distributed by SMS and email to maximise security.

Audit Trails

SMS Responder records all key activities; e.g. logging on, making changes to the database and sending messages.
